Baseball's Summer Showcase Series Rapidly Approaching

Players of various ages invited to sessions led by UMass coaching staff
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts baseball head coach Matt Reynolds and his staff will host three showcases and clinics throughout the month of August, geared toward a variety of players. The UMass Baseball Team Showcase on Aug. 3-4 has already sold out and space is filling fast for two additional sessions.
On Tues.-Wed., Aug. 20-21 young ballplayers ages 7-12 are invited for the Minutemen Summer Youth 2-Day Clinic. Participants will be guided in hitting, defense, pitching and base running. Lunch will be provided each day across campus in the No. 1 nationally-ranked dining commons.
Sun., Aug. 25 concludes the series with the High School Summer Instructional Showcase for players entering grades 9-12. This clinic is both is intended to both allow for a chance to showcase your abilities AND to be instructional in nature. You will receive instruction from the UMass staff in areas such as hitting, pitching, throwing drills, base running and position specific defensive work.
