Benhaddouche Signs With Kitchee SC Of Hong Kong Premier League

The midfielder was part of a UMass squad that qualified for four straight A-10 Tournaments.

AMHERST, Mass. – Former University of Massachusetts men's soccer midfielder Clement Benhaddouche signed a pro contract with Kitchee SC of the Hong Kong Premier League after wrapping up his career at UMass after the 2018 campaign. Benhaddouche made his first cap for the club on Jan. 20 in a 3-0 win over Lee Man.

At UMass, Benhaddouche was part of a Minuteman squad that qualified for four consecutive Atlantic 10 Tournaments for just the second-time in program history while picking up the program's first A-10 Tournament title since 2007 in 2017. The midfielder ended his collegiate career with a goal in the 2018 A-10 Tournament quarterfinals against VCU with a goal in the 53rd minute to send the match to overtime.

Benhaddouche and Kitchee SC return to the pitch on Feb. 12 for a matchup against Perak.
