Four-year letterman finished UMass career with 84 tackles, 13 passes defended, two interceptions

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Colts signed University of Massachusetts football alumnus Jackson Porter to the organization's practice squad. Porter, who finished his UMass playing days in 2017, totaled 84 tackles, 13 passes defended and two interceptions over four seasons competing for the Minutemen.

Porter played in 42 games during his UMass career, primarily at cornerback and on special teams. The Colts represent Porter's third NFL organization, as he previously signed with the Baltimore Ravens following the completion of his collegiate career and spent time with the Green Bay Packers during 2019.
