UMass Insider Show Returns For 2017-18

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts Athletics, in conjunction with multimedia rights holder Learfield's UMass Sports Properties, has announced that the UMass Insider Show, presented by Bud Light, will return to the radio airwaves for the 2017-18 academic year. The show, which will be broadcast live from The Hangar Pub and Grill on University Drive in Amherst, will air on 105.5 FM WEEI with the voice of UMass football and basketball, Josh Maurer, serving as the show's host.

The slate of 23 shows will begin on Thursday, September 14, with another Thursday show on September 21, before shifting to Mondays for the duration of the schedule. All episodes, regardless of day, will air from 7-8 p.m. and will also be available online via UMassAthletics.com.

Fans will hear from head coach Mark Whipple and select student-athletes during UMass football season and will shift to content highlighting the men's basketball program and first-year head coach Matt McCall in November. The show will feature additional UMass Athletics content, interviews and special guests throughout the year, as well, before wrapping up with the final show on March 12, 2018.
