Course Material Pick-Up Policy – Academic Success (290 Boyden Building)

Each semester, book scholarship student-athletes will acquire their course materials from the Academic Success office after being notified via e-mail. If they change their schedule or are required to have an item they were not previously provided, they must e-mail a course syllabus as an attachment to the Academic Success contact person. Student-athletes should be prepared with their UCard to pick up course materials.
It must be clearly stated in the syllabus what course materials are required. Attempts to acquire anything else with Athletic Department funds or loaning course materials acquired by the Athletic Department to another student constitute NCAA violations.
If asked for a syllabus and one is not available, student-athletes must ask their instructors to send an email to an Academic Success staff member, stating the materials and confirming that they are required.
All requests for required course materials must be made by the Friday following the add/drop deadline for the Fall and Spring semesters.

Course Material Return Policy – Academic Success (290 Boyden Building)

All course materials must be returned to the Academic Success office in 290 Boyden Building by the communicated deadline each semester. Course materials must be returned only to Academic Success staff members. They may not be left with a student worker, left with a note, returned by another student, or returned to another location.
Student-athletes need to notify Academic Success immediately if their books are stolen and a police report has been filed. Otherwise, these books will be considered not returned.
Student-athletes are responsible for all course materials listed on a receipt from a vendor and listed on a book slip given by Academic Success. They should keep copies of receipts and book slips to remind them of what needs to be returned.
Any student-athlete who does not return books by the stated deadline may be charged the cost of the materials not returned.
