Men's Cross Country Unveils 2015 Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass men's cross country program has announced its upcoming 2015 schedule, which features seven meets, beginning with the annual Minuteman Invitational to open the season on Saturday, Sept. 12 in Amherst.
For a second straight year, the Minutemen will head to the Coast-To-Coast Battle in Beantown to face a challenging field of teams from across the nation on Sept. 25. The Friday afternoon meet will be held in Boston at Franklin Park.
Seven days later, UMass is set to make its annual trip to the Paul Short Invitational, which is set for Oct. 2 in Bethlehem, Pa., on the campus of Lehigh University.
The Minutemen will then return to Franklin Park to begin the championship meet portion of the schedule with the New England Championship on Saturday, Oct. 10.
UMass will then spend the next three weeks preparing for the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship that will be held at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va., on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The Minutemen will wrap up their 2015 slate with the NCAA Regional Championship and the IC4A Championship on Nov. 13 and Nov. 21, respectively.
UMass returns a veteran squad for 2015 that features five seniors and five juniors on the roster, including 2014 Atlantic 10 All-Conference honoree Ben Groleau.
