Kindvall, Roush Open Competition At NCAA Zone Diving Monday

AMHERST, Mass. - A pair of freshmen from the Massachusetts swimming & diving program will begin their dream of qualifying for the NCAA Championship this week when they participate in the NCAA Zone Diving competition at the University at Buffalo's Natatorium.
Trent Kindvall is the lone qualifier on the men's side and will compete with more than 50 entrants in the 1-Meter on Monday and the 3-Meter on Tuesday.
The first-year Minutemen diver from Windsor, Colo., has top scores of 288.53 on the low board and 322.25 on the high board. His 3-Meter score came in a gold medal performance in the finals of the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship.
Rookie Emma Roush will compete in both boards, beginning with the 3-Meter on Monday and 1-Meter on Tuesday.
Roush has posted high scores this season of 270.55 in the 1-Meter and 287.80 in the 3-Meter. The Overland Park, Kan. native won the 1-Meter and finished second in the 3-Meter at last month's A-10 Championship meet.
