Hilliard Highlights UMass' Trip To ECAC Championship

BOSTON, Mass. - UMass' Rachel Hilliard took to the track on the final day of the ECAC Championship Sunday at Boston University in Boston, Mass. The senior followed in the footsteps of Ashley Palmer's personal accomplishment in long jump the day prior, competing in the 3,000 meter run. Hilliard finished 8th overall at 9 minutes, 45.95-seconds.
In the distance medley relay, UMass' team of Carly Zinner, Courtney Neves, Krista Webb and Colleen Sands took ninth with a combined time of 11 minutes, 57.20-seconds.
This concludes the 2015 indoor track and field season for the Minutewomen, who will return to action with the outdoor season beginning on Apr. 3 with a home meet against Boston College and Rhode Island.
