Minutewomen Take On ECAC Championship

BOSTON, Mass - The Minutewomen finished the first day of the ECAC Championships Saturday at Boston University. Ashley Palmer had a standout performance in long jump while Krista Webb, Carly Zinner, Courtney Neves, and Kelsey Sheridan raced in the preliminary round of the 4x800 meter relay.
In long jump, senior field athlete Ashley Palmer finished seventh at 18 feet, 6-inches. Webb, Zinner, Neves, and Sheridan finished at 9 minutes, 9.58-seconds, good for 16th but falling short of qualifying for finals.
Sunday, March 8 comes the final day of the ECAC Championships at Boston University. Rachel Hilliard will take on a talented field of competitors in the 3,000 meter run. Her race is slated to begin at 1:40 PM.
