Roush Finishes 15th On 3-Meter At NCAA Zones

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Massachusetts freshman Emma Roush Completed her first-ever NCAA Zone Diving event in 15th place in the 3-Meter Springboard at the University at Buffalo Natatorium Monday.
The Overland Park, Kan. native scored a 548.45 on 12 dives in the event. She advanced out of the preliminary round with a 273.75, placing her 16th out of the field of 54 divers. The top 18 moved on to the finals with scores carrying over from the prelims.
Of her six finals dives, five were scored at 45.90 or higher with a top dive of 50.40 in the fourth round that placed her in ninth place.
She will participate in the 1-Meter competition on Tuesday in an attempt to secure one of the advancing spots to the NCAA Championship.
