Kindvall Participates In First NCAA Zone Meet

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Massachusetts diver Trent Kindvall scored 264.95 points in the 1-Meter competition at the NCAA Zone Diving Meet at the University at Buffalo Natatorium Monday.
Kindvall finished the prelims in 20th place out of 49 divers, narrowly missing out on being one of the top-18 qualifiers for the finals.
The first-year competitor from Windsor, Colo, Kindvall posted four dives in the low-to-mid-40-point range before finishing with his best score of the day - a 52.70 on an inward 2 1/2 somersault tuck.
He will now turn his attention to the 3-Meter on Tuesday in an attempt at qualifying for the NCAA Championship.
