AMHERST, Mass. - Three Massachusetts divers will open NCAA competition Monday at the NCAA Zone A Diving Meet at the Christiansburg (Va.) Aquatic Center with the hope of advancing to the NCAA Championships.

Senior All-America Michaela Butler and sophomore Mikhaila Eckhardt will compete on the women's side, with sophomore Josh Koppel representing the Minutemen.

Action gets going at Noon on Monday with the men's 3-meter and women's 1-meter preliminaries. The top 18 qualifiers will advance to the finals at 2:30 p.m.

The same schedule will be used on Tuesday with the genders switching boards.

Competitions in four other zone events (Greensboro, N.C., Columbus, Ohio, Minneapolis, Minn. and Colorado Springs, Colo.) will also send qualifiers to the championships.
