UMass Wraps Up First Half At Terrier Invitational This Weekend

AMHERST, Mass. - The Massachusetts men's and women's swimming & diving teams will participate in the Terrier Invitational at Boston University this weekend.
UMass will compete against Army, Boston College, Fairfield and the host Terriers in a championship-style meet, Friday-Sunday. Prelims will begin at 10:00 a.m. and Finals at 6:00 p.m. the first two days. On Sunday, the finals will start at 5:00 p.m.
Diving prelims and finals will run at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the 1650 Freestyle will occupy the time slot between the conclusion of the prelims and start of the finals.
The Minutemen have won the Invite four times in the last eight years - 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2012 - and collected a third place finish last year.
The Minutewomen, who have finished second each of the last two years, won nine events and en route to 661 points a year ago.
