Solid Performances By Minutewomen at ECACs

BOSTON, Mass. - The UMass women's track team finished the ECAC meet yesterday, March 6. The team did not earn any points despite positing some impressive marks.
Gina Perno came in seventh in the 1000 meter run finals, with a time of 2:52.71. This is her third best time of the season, just shy of her best mark, 2:51.47, which is the second fastest all-time mark at UMass.
Karen Roa finished 19th in the 3000 meter run, with a time of 10:07.47. while Stephanie Aguguo placed seventh at the meet and had a mark of 39-10.50. This was also her second best mark of the season, missing her best jump by 4.75 inches. Her best jump is the second best all time mark at UMass.
Rounding out day two competition was the distance medley relay, which came in 19th and posted a time of 12:04.57. This was also the second best time the relay team had this season.
This meet closes out the indoor track season. The Minutewomen will be back in action for the outdoor season on April 1 for the Sam Howell Invitational.
