Cook, Duffield Ready For NCAA Zone Meet

AMHERST, Mass. - Two weeks removed from an Atlantic 10 title, Jason Cook and Adam Duffield from the UMass diving team are ready for the NCAA Zone meet to be held at Rutgers University March 12th and 13th. Cook swept both the one and three meter diving events at the Atlantic 10 Championships, giving him four A-10 titles in just two seasons at UMass. Duffield had a second-place finish in the one-meter dive, while coming in fifth-place in the three-meter dive.
Cook posted his top score in both the one and three-meter dive at the A-10 Championships. The sophomore posted a score of 395.05 in the three-meter and 333.05 in the one-meter to take first in both events. Cook was absolutely dominant on the diving board, with seven first-place finishes in the one-meter and eight first-place finishes in the three-meter this season.
Duffield was the team's second leading diver behind Cook. The junior took second in the three-meter dive at A-10s with a season-best score of 300.90 while taking fifth in the one-meter (267.60). Duffield is making his first NCAA appearance, while Cook will be returning for the second-straight year.
