Shiyi Zan Earns Academic All-Conference Honors

AMHERST, Mass. - Redshirt sophomore Shiyi Zan (Ottawa, Ontario) earned Academic All-Conference honors as announced by the Atlantic 10 Wednesday. Zan earned Atlantic 10 Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Year this fall. Zan ranks first on the team in both the 3000 meter run and the 5000 meter event. She maintains a 3.9 GPA in Kinesiology.
Zan's best time in the 3000 came at the Giegengack Invitational where she ranked seventh overall. At the Great Dane Invitational, Zan ran the 5000 meter in 17:50.86 for a first place finish and her season-best mark.
