UMass Diving Has Strong Showing At Harvard Invite

The UMass men's and women's swimming and diving teams performed very well at the Harvard Invitational over the weekend, achieving four top-five finishes overall. Jason Cook highlighted the day for the men, notching two first-place finishes in both the one-meter and three-meter events.
Cook registered a score of 343.45 in the final round of the one-meter dive, finishing with a score of 639.55. John Clark, Adam Duffield and Conor Dunn also had solid performances, finishing fifth, sixth and seventh respectively as the Minutemen registered the most top-eight finishes.
Cook and Duffield also had a one-two finish in the three-meter event, as Cook ended with a score of 740.15 while Duffield notched a score of 621.05. Conor Dunn rounded out the scoring for the men, finishing eighth with a score of 495.20.
On the women's side, sophomore Hannah Swift led the way with a fifth-place finish in the one-meter dive. Swift registered a score of 237.75 in the preliminary round, followed by a final round score of 236.85 to give her a total of 474.60.
The diving teams will next compete in the Bucknell Diving Invitational Dec.4-6.
