Allery Heads To NCAA Regionals

AMHERST, Mass. -- Senior diver Kate Allery (South Hadley, Mass.) will represent the University of Massachusetts at the NCAA Diving Regionals in Buffalo, N.Y., March 13-15. This is the second straight year Allery has qualified for the regional meet.
Allery secured a spot in this weekend's competition when she tallied a score of 468.60 in the 11 dive three-meter at the Atlantic 10 Championships. The score also allowed Allery to win the event at the conference championship as well as set a new school record. Allery also placed first in the one-meter dive with 270.40 points at the A-10 Championships.
This season Allery has tallied several individual accolades, as she was named the A-10 Diver of the Year and was twice named both the ECAC Division I Women's Diver of the Week and the A-10 Performer of the Week.
The NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will take place at Auburn University on March 20-22.
