Women's Tennis Picks Up Conference Win Over Temple

AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team picked up its first conference win of the spring season, and second of the year as Temple was forced to default this evening's scheduled match due to injuries.
The Owls, who only have four healthy players, decided not to make the trek up to Amherst for this evening's 6:00 p.m. conference clash. While the Minutewomen are credited with a conference win, they will not gain an overall win due to NCAA regulations. The win does, however, count toward the upcoming Atlantic 10 tournament.
Massachusetts will travel across the Commonwealth for a battle with Boston University, Sunday, April 7, at 12:00 p.m.
