HANOVER, N.H. -- The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team fell to Dartmouth last night, 7-0. The Minutewomen are now 1-5 overall this spring and will play three matches this weekend against Columbia, Maryland-Baltimore County and Army.
The tandem of senior Helena Horak (Westlake Village, Calif.) and sophomore Susan Hyams (Cincinnati, Ohio) defeated Ardes Fredeking and Sarah McNally at second doubles, 8-6. The Minutewomen lost the doubles point, however, as they were swept in the other two games. They also failed to win a singles game.
