Women's Tennis Falls To No. 57 Yale, 7-0

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team fell to No. 57 Yale, 7-0, last night, dropping to 0-2 this spring.
Sophomore Jafra Depontes (Kaliua-Kona, Hawaii) was the only Minutewoman to win a game as the fell in second singles to Biffy Kaufman 6-4, 3-6, 4-10 in the super-tiebreaker. Freshman Stephanie Price (Columbia, Mo.) and Depontes lost at No. 1 singles to Karlyn Martin and P. Martin, 4-8.
The Minutewomen next hit the courts Saturday, Feb. 16, when they take on Stoney Brook. Match time is set for 6:00 p.m. They will then face Colgate Feb. 17 at 10:00 a.m.
