UMass Women's Tennis Match Cancelled

The women's tennis match between the University of Massachusetts and Marist was cancelled today due to expected showers throughout the afternoon. In what would have been the Minutewomen's only home match in the fall season, UMass was to face Marist at 3:00 p.m. today at the Upper Boyden Courts .

UMass Head Coach Judy Dixon said the match will not be rescheduled.

``Marist doesn't have time to reschedule in the fall season and we have such a full spring schedule that we don't have room to add them in then,'' Dixon said.

With today's cancellation the Minutewomen have a week to prepare for their next match on Oct. 12 at St. John's.
