UMass Women's Tennis Match Cancelled

AMHERST, Mass.-- Saturday's tennis match between the University of Massachusetts and St. John's has been cancelled due to expected showers tomorrow afternoon. The match was supposed to take place at 1:00 p.m. in Jamaica, N.Y.

UMass Head Coach Judy Dixon said the match will not be rescheduled.

With today's cancellation the Minutewomen will have a two week break from competition to prepare for the ITA Regional Championships in Cambridge, Mass. on Oct. 25-29. The regional tournament will end the fall portion of the team's schedule.
