Swimmer Billy Brown Competes At NCAA Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- University of Massachusetts senior swimmer Billy Brown (Fullerton, Calif.) competed this weekend at the NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at Texas A&M University. Brown is the first UMass swimmer to compete at NCAAs in school history.
On Friday, March 23, Brown competed in the 100 breast with a time of 55.99 which was good for 39th. On Saturday, March 24, he competed in the 200 breast and placed 33rd with a time of 2:01.87.
Brown holds UMass records in the 100 (55.73) and 200 breast (1:58.66), as well as in the 400 IM (3:56.48). In his career Brown won four individual Atlantic 10 titles.
