Two UMass Runners Named To Atlantic 10 All-Conference Teams

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The University of Massachusetts Cross Country teams had two members selected to the 2001 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Teams for their top 10 placement at the Cross Country Championships.
Senior Michael Pieck (Guilderland, N.Y.) finished ninth in the championship race, leading all Minuteman runners with a time of 25.33.9.
Senior Kristin Cisowski (Salem, N.H.) was the top finisher for the Minutewomen, placing third overall with a time of 18:13.3.
The Minutemen placed third in the conference with 80 points behind Saint Joseph's (52) and A-10 Champions La Salle (16). The Minutewomen secured fourth place with 122 points behind Richmond (72), Rhode Island (65) and A-10 Champions La Salle (55).
