Women's Tennis Hosts Amherst College Tomorrow

AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women?s tennis team will host Amherst College tomorrow, Sept. 21, at 3:30 p.m. at the Boyden Tennis Courts. The match will mark the Minutewomen?s first dual match of the season.

UMass competed at the SUnity Life Tennis Classic from Sept. 17-19 in Syracuse, N.Y. The pair of sophomore Helena Horak (Westlake Village, Calif.) and freshman Katie Stammen (Falmouth, Mass.) took third place in Flight 2 doubles, while freshman Beth Ebert (Westford, Mass.) placed fourth in Flight 6 singles.

The defending Division III national champions Lady Jeffs are undefeated (2-0) this season and are coming off an 8-1 victory over Skidmore on Sept. 19.
