Home to the Massachusetts baseball team, Earl Lorden Field was officially dedicated in honor of the former UMass head coach on April 24, 1971. The bleachers at Lorden Field have also been dedicated, in the name of former legendary coach Dick Bergquist. In recent years, batting cages were added beyond the left field foul line. A new scoreboard was installed beyond the left field wall for the 2001 season.

Directly adjacent to the facility is the Minutemen's locker room, meeting space and strength & conditioning area.
