A 2022 graduate from Western Carolina University, Jared Draney joined the University of Massachusetts Athletics Department in December of 2023 as the Assistant Director of Creative Services.
In this position, Draney will focus on creating video content for the Creative Services department.
Prior to UMass, Draney was most recently the Media Producer for Ascend Performing Arts and the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in Denver, Colorado. In this role he traveled across the country filming for the organization. Alongside Ascend, Draney was also previously the Multi-Media Producer for AP Fuel, a marketing company based in Greenville, S.C.
While a student at Western Carolina University, Draney earned his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts studying at the University’s nationally decorated Film and Television Production program. Additionally, he worked for the WCU Football Program where he was the team’s content creator.
