CJ White joined the Massachusetts men's lacrosse staff in the fall of 2025 as director of player development He enters his first season with the Gorillas in 2026.
White came to UMass from Vassar College, where he served as associate head coach in the defensive coordinator role. His work as a defensive coordinator resulted in Vassar producing two All-Liberty League defenders. White previously served as the assistant coach specialized in goalie and face-off coaching for Vassar.
Prior to joining Vassar’s staff, White was a graduate assistant coach at Clarkson University, where he earned his Masters of Business Administration. White mentored the defensive end and goalies, as well as assisted with faceoff coaching. During his time at Clarkson, White helped the Golden Knights post an 11-5 record.
As a student-athlete at Hobart, White earned a degree in Media and Society with a minor in Entrepreneual Studies. White made three starts in five games as a goaltender.
