Ryan Bliss

Ryan Bliss joins the University of Massachusetts hockey staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2019-20 after initially coming to UMass as a graduate transfer defenseman from Cornell in 2018-19.
Bliss played in 53 games over the course of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 campaigns with the Big Red and totaled 16 points on three goals and 13 assists before his career was cut short due to injury.
Prior to his time at Cornell, the Chelmsford, Massachusetts native appeared in 49 games for the U.S. National Team Development Program and logged one goal and eight assists for nine points and a +7 rating.
Bliss earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cornell in December 2018.
