Before UMass: Started the 2008-09 season playing for the Phoenix Polar Bears (WSHL), playing in 22 games ... Went 16-4-0 with a 1.98 GAA and .941 save percentage before joining the Minutemen in January of 2009. A graduate of The Williston Northampton School where he attended for two years ... Played hockey under head coaches Brock Dunn and Derek Cunha ...A member of both the baseball and water polo teams ... Named hockey MVP in his junior year ... Received The Sportsmanship Award in his senior year as well as the George Denman Bowl, awarded for general excellence in athletics, with an emphasis on good sportsmanship and helpful spirit.
