Joe Kreinsen is in his third season as an offensive graduate assistant with Massachusetts football. He joined the staff in June 2014 and works with the offensive line while assisting with all facets of the offense.
 
With the Minutemen, he’s responsible for the breakdown of practice and game film, statistical reports detailing offensive production, coordinating the scout team and assisting with day-to-day recruiting operations.
 
A 2014 graduate of Westfield State, Kreinsen was team captain and all-conference as a senior in 2013. He was a four-year starter on the offensive line and a three-time member of the New England Football Conference All-Academic Team.
 
He was the recipient of the 2014 DeOrmond Tuss McLaughry Award, presented annually to the outstanding college football scholar-athlete in Western Massachusetts. The award is given by the Western Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. He was also a member of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society.
 
A native of Natick, Mass., Kreinsen is pursuing a master’s degree in labor studies.
