Fire joined the Massachusetts Athletics department as an analyst for the football team in the spring 2024.

Before joining the UMass football staff, Fire worked for the University of Rhode Island football program in a defensive quality control role, working specifically with the defensive backs and linebackers.

Fire earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island, as well as earning his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Fire was a linebacker at URI from 2017-2022 and totaled over 200 career tackles in 46 games played. He was a Second Team All-Conference selection in his final season of play.
