2018 – Freshman: Played in all 20 games, starting in six ... Finished the season with seven points on three goals and one assist ... Made collegiate debut at New Hampshire (8/24) ... Notched first two career goals against UConn(9/7) ... Tallied a goal and an assist against Dartmouth (9/9).
Hillier on UMass:“When I first visited UMass, it truly felt like it was a school I would do well at. When I saw the field hockey pitch, I knew right away it was a place I wanted to play. The coaches and students were very welcoming and I enjoyed my time with teammates."
Before UMass: Captained the squad at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School under the guidance of Joe Dietrich ... Was among the leading scorers each season in District 8 and and top three in Ontario ... Two-time District 8 Gold Medalist, CWOSSA Finalist and team MVP ... Also led the Phoenix to multiple provincial championships and a runner-up performance in 2016 ... In 2016-17, was selected to take part in Ontario’s Talent ID Camp led by Canadian National Team assistant StephAndrews.
Personal: Born in Kitchener, Ontario to parents Jamie and Tracy Hillier ... Has one sibling, Emma ... Enjoys horseback riding and spending time at the gym ... Will look to study public health.
