Vautour's feature focuses on the process of preparing for the draft and the media exposure Sifrin has received. Sifrin says he is excited about the draft, but is more anxious to find out what team he could be playing for so he can begin preparing for pre-season camp as soon as possible.

Bleacher Report has an in-depth feature on UMass football tight end Jean Sifrin as he prepares for the 2015 NFL Draft. The production crew spent several days with Jean and the UMass football program prior to the Minutemen's NFL Pro Day event at McGuirk Stadium.

Jean Sifrin is 27 and hoping to be a sleeper pick in this year's NFL draft. He ran an uninspiring 4.84 40-yard dash at the combine and needed to impress scouts at his pro day if he was going to have any chance of getting drafted.   

At 23, Sifrin was scouted playing flag football, and three years later he found his way onto the University of Massachusetts roster. In his only D-I season, the 6'5", 245-pound tight end caught 41 balls for 637 yards and six touchdowns. He's now on the fringes of being drafted, but his age and speed are holding him back.   

Making it to the NFL would mean providing a better life for his eight-year-old son, Jabari. Can Sifrin impress his way onto a roster?

With the NFL Draft coming this weekend, Dan Malone of MassLive.com takes a look at where Jean Sifrin could likely be drafted. While no other Minutemen are likely to be drafted, Stanley Andre does have a strong chance of being picked up as a free agent. Malone also looks ahead to next year as several Minutemen are potential Draft prospects including Tajae Sharpe, Blake Frohnapfel, Jovan Santos-Knox and Randall Jette.

The John Mackey Award unveiled its Midseason Watch List on Monday with UMass tight end Jean Sifrin being added to the group. The award is presented annually to college football's top tight end. Sifrin is the second player this year to be named to a national award watch list after Tajae Sharpe was added to the Biletnikoff Award for best wide receiver. This is also the second year that a UMass tight end has been on the Mackey Award watch list after Rob Blanchflower was on it in 2013.

Republican: Tight ends Jean Sifrin & Jon Denton Rank No. 15 In @UMassFootball Top 25 Players To Watch Countdown

Dan Malone of the Springfield Republican has incoming tight ends Jean Sifrin and Jon Denton, both junior college transfers, as being tied as No. 15 on his top 25 players to watch list for UMass football this season. Sifrin seems to be a strong receiving tight end, while Denton looks to be more of a point-of-attack blocker with good hands in the pass game. The combo combined with UMass' returning corps of tight ends will give the Minutemen several options in replacing Rob Blanchflower who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers this past May.
