Former @UMassHockey Defenseman Matt Irwin Signs With Boston Bruins

Former UMass hockey defenseman, free agent Matt Irwin signed with the Boston Bruins on Friday morning. Irwin, who played 153 career NHL games over the past three seasons with the San Jose Sharks, scored a career high eight goals in 2014-15, contributing to a total of 19 points and a +3 rating.
