UMass women's basketball alumna Tamara Tatham (2003-07) and Team Canada advanced to the second round of the FIBA World Championship despite a loss to France, 63-59, on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Tatham provided 11 points, a pair of rebounds, one assist and a steal in the loss. The Canadian side faces the Czech Republic on Wednesday, Oct. 1, in its first elimination game.
