Degon appeared in 146 games over his four seasons with the Minutemen, spanning 2002-06, and totaled 83 career points on 27 goals and 56 assists.In 2013-14, he spent time with both the Elmira Jackals and the Reading Royals in the ECHL.

Former UMass defenseman Marvin Degon has signed with the Slovenian team HDD Olimpija Ljubljana of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.

One time I saw Slovenia on TV on House Hunters International and was surprised at how beautiful it was. So hopefully he will enjoy that.
