Quick, Kings, Win NHL's Jennings Trophy

Congratulations to former UMass goaltender Jonathan Quick who won the NHL's Jennings Trophy with the Los Angeles Kings upon the conclusion of the 2013-14 regular season on Sunday. The Jennings award goes to "the goalkeeper(s) having played a minimum of 25 games for the team with the fewest goals scored against it."

Quick is the first member of the Kings to capture the Jennings Trophy and won it outright when the Boston Bruins allowed three goals Sunday in their final game of the season, bringing their total to 177. Los Angeles allowed 174 goals this season.
