CBS Sports Conference Predictions & Top 100 Players

CBSSports.com and its collection of college basketball writers released their votes for regular-season champions among the top conferences, including the Atlantic 10.

The group composed of Jeff Goodman, Doug Gottlieb, Gary Parrish, Matt Norlander and Jeff Borzello combined to select four different winners. Goodman chose UMass, Gottlieb had Butler, Parrish and Borzello has VCU, while Norlander likes Saint Louis.

Additionally, the group collaborated to pick the top 100 players among the Division I ranks and have UMass junior guard Chaz Williams among its list, coming in at No. 78.

They wrote:

Man, Williams is fun to watch. He is an ideal fit for the Minutemen's system, given his quickness and ability to create points off turnovers. Led the team in points and assists last season. -- J.B.
