Mike Kostka Signs With Florida Panthers

Former UMass standout Mike Kostka has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Florida Panthers organization as announced by the team yesterday. Kostka had 55 points in 80 games last year with the Rochester Amerks as the team's top scoring defenseman.

Kostka began his pro career with the AHL Rochester Americans in 2007-08 before playing two years with the Portland Pirates and then last season back in Rochester.
