Another Strong April Weekend For UMass Athletics

If April showers bring May flowers, does the same hold true for wins and playoffs? UMass had another successful weekend with a combined 9-3 record, several outstanding performances by the track & field teams in their home opening meet, and a Gold Medal performance for the crew team on the Cooper River in the Knecht Cup.

That brings the April W/L total to 16-4 - especially since most of those are against league opponents.

Those May playoffs are coming soon for softball, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse as April hits the home stretch over the next two weeks. Make sure to get out to Amherst for what is sure to be an exciting next few weeks.
