Collegian Previews Of Women's Lacrosse

The UMass women's lacrosse team returns to action on Saturday at Garber Field against Stony Brook after a 10-day rest. The Minutewomen jumped to 18th in the insidelacrosse.com/deBeer Media Poll on Monday and earned a No. 20 ranking in the IWLCA coaches poll on Tuesday. Katie Ferris earned her 2nd straight Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor, while Katie Florence was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week. With all that, the Minutewomen are going for win No. 6 of the year as the Seawolves come to town. The Daily Collegian has the preview of the game along with a sidebar on Ferris.
