Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune has a story on former UMass Hockey player Casey Wellman, and how the Minnesota Wild are trying to mold him into a top NHL player.

"It's up to me to work hard and earn a spot," Wellman said. "Whatever they think is the right plan for me, whatever they decide, I'll be ready for and work hard for."
