Torra Leads Pacific Coast League In Innings Pitched

According to the Diamondbacks Farm Report on TriValleyCentral.com, former UMass pitcher Matt Torra has won his last three starts and leads the league with 147.1 innings pitched. Torra is 8-6 on the season with a 3.97 ERA.

Another UMass baseball alum playing in AAA, Chad Paronto, threw two shutout innings of relief for the Pawtucket Red Sox in a 2-1 loss to the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees last night. Paronto is 3-5 with a 4.08 ERA in 64.0 innings pitched.
