MLL Regular-Season Ends; Fiore Scored Two Goals

The final weekend of action in Major League Lacrosse wrapped up on Saturday. The MLL Championship Weekend Semifinals are set with the following match-ups on Aug. 21: Chesapeake Bayhawks vs. Boston Cannons and Long Island Lizards vs. Denver Outlaws.

Here's a look at UMass' alums in the MLL after 12 weeks of regular-season action.

First-place Boston lost to the Bayhawks, 16-15 in an overtime thriller. Jack Reid played defense for the Cannons.
Long Island topped Toronto, 13-7 as Chris Fiore scored two goals and added an assist for the Lizards.
In the Chicago Machine's final game, they lost to Denver 18-8. UMass products Diogo Godoi (four groundballs), Kevin Leveille and Brett Garber played for Chicago.
