Maine Says CAA Football Is The Home For Black Bears

Over the weekend, there were several stories about the Maine Black Bears, the longtime rival on the gridiron of UMass. Many media members of have wondered if Maine might disband its program similar to Hofstra or Northeastern. But the Black Bears are committed to the CAA. Read about it in the Sun Journal and the Kennebec Journal. "I really was offended when I spent most of the time at the CAA meeting talking about the future of our football team rather than the upcoming season," Head coach Jack Cosgrove said.
