Matt Vautour has a notebook in the Daily Hampshire Gazette has looks at the UMass special teams.

"Guys are competing. It's been a little too up and down with some inconsistency," coach Kevin Morris said. "With kickers it's like golf, 10 percent physical and 90 percent mental. We're working on a lot of the mental right now. There's a lot of mental toughness you need. They can all kick. They all have strong legs. ... We're trying to find the right mix and make sure we're scoring on Saturday."
