Faessler, Farima Garner MAC Doubles Team Of The Week

Ella Faessler and Renata Farima earn the first duo weekly honor for the Minutewomen.
AMHERST, Mass. – Senior Ella Faessler and graduate student Renata Farima were named Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday evening. The duo received the weekly honor for the first time this season.
On a 2-0 week for UMass, Faessler and Farima went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles. The pair clinched the doubles point over Bowling Green with a 6-1 win, before downing Eastern Michigan, 6-1, to clinch the doubles point once again.
The Minutewomen travel to Oxford, Ohio, on Friday, March 20, to face Miami (OH) at 12 p.m., before heading to Muncie, Indiana, to take on Ball State on Sunday, March 22 at 11 a.m.
