Minutewomen Record Third Shutout Of The Season, Defeat BU 4-0

AMHERST, Mass. -- No. 14 Massachusetts (4-0) earned their third shutout this season, claiming a 4-0 win over Boston University (0-3) on Friday at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex.
Massachusetts earned its 21st victory over the Terriers all-time, having claimed a 5-3 win last season in Boston. The Minutewomen have now won 15 straight games at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex dating back to Friday, Oct. 6 vs. Saint Joseph's.
Freshman Emily Barrett recorded her second brace of the season, firing in two goals on four shots. Junior Neva Eisenga remained a premier option in the attack penalty corner unit, notching her third goal of the season.
Freshman Fiene Jenniskens showcased her talent as a distributor, tallying a team-high three assists in the contest. Jenniskens leads the team with four assists on the season.
Senior goalkeeper Myrte van Herwijnen recorded her third clean sheet of the season, recording seven saves on the day. Van Herwijnen totaled 18 saves on the weekend, after a season-high 11 against Brown.
The Terriers were led by goalkeeper Sophie Ortyl who recorded six saves on the evening.
